The Ikarus Eco 8	Dale Mercers Ikarus Piccolo
Dale Mercer had me build his new little Zoom 400 and I had a chance to fly it at the club meeting. These little mini heli's are quite impressive with brushless motors and Lipoly batteries. I hope to have much more to say about these in the future (click on it for a larger picture).	Bob Belluomini arranged with Hobby Express to loan us a Hirobo Lama XRB SkyRobo micro heli to play with. This is the RC version of the tethered one Hirobo has offered for a while. The coaxial main rotors provided plenty of stability and most everyone took a stab at flying it in the meeting room. Landing on a raised work table while sitting down proved to be quite a challenge (the perspective is a real b&*^%) but a couple of daring pilots gave it a try. All in all a great meeting....see you in Jan! Till then keep the spinning side up...ja
