Ernie Journey 1999

Cresent City, Florida

Entrace to Ernies Wonderland Ernie Huber

The first thing you see when you get to Ernie Huber's fantastic flying field is the lush greenery and those two heli's on his welcome sign. Above you'll see Ernie, doing what he does best - helping flyers of all ages. Here he's discussing the in's and out's of RC helis with two curious spectators. Ralph Delusio and Bob McDonald are in their own conversation in the background, probably discussing Ernies election into the AMA Hall of Fame.

Ernie's Flying Field Flight Line

The weather was excellent for the entire weekend with BLUE skies, mild temperatures and very little wind. Here's a few shots up and down the flight line to give you a taste of just how nice it was! these "kits" too!

How sweet it was....

Chuck Wacker - CDAirwolf at Ernies Bob Belluomini and his Heim SlimLine 60

As always Chuck Wacker did an excellent job as the event CD, seen above relaxing in the radio impound. Bob Belluomini wowed the crowd with his Heim Slim Line 60, affectionately know as GaMe, when he executed some very fast flybys and some absolutely HUGH loops. Probably sold a lot of Heim kits that day...

Bell 412 at Ernies Bob's Eco8

There was a large array of heli types present, from the Scale award winning Bell 412 to the tiny and nimble Icarus Eco8 electric heli. Bob Belluomini flew this little chopper just like a glow machine - very impressive
