Equalizing trays
An equalizing tray is a tray that brings down the cells slowly. We use discharge trays on our cells and it seems to work out also. I beleive when we put that info on our website we were using 1700 black cells. When the capacity has dropped off allot on the Panasonics deadshorting them can bring back 150-200 milliamps. Danny from smc-racing.com

Equalizing trays discharge each single cell of a pack with a very small discharge current so that the cells really get empty. Also dicharging them slowly and individually make it impossible of damaging the cells by overdischarging them, to further protect the cells, discharge will be stopped at a certain level. Using equalizing trays greatly helps keeping the cell's punch (voltage). Please bear in mind though that our trays are only designed for 6 cell packs. Nano from Team-Orion

Chargers

Schulze Chamelion and Bulldog Graupner UltraDuo

The Schulze Chameleon 636 charger attached to the Bulldog 40A mains power supply, an excellent combo! The Graupner MC-Ultra Duo is also a really great little charger which looks to be Schulze electronic inside - similar capability as the 636.
